checked-in, Day 1 of Redang !

Right, so we jumped off the boat… and checked-in. We stayed in three’s in various blocks of D, E, F… + etc.

The resort was cosy and comfy, no complains from me at least. It really feels like home when staying at Redang Beach Resort. That's what i like about it... not too classy, just nice a resort.

It was 11.00 p.m. plus… and lunch was at 1 p.m. We were starvinggg……………..


Finally lunch was served, and everyone was happy and gay. Wahaha. Just jk. :)

Shortly after that… there was an announcement …

“music blaring - - - bla bla bla --- it’s snorkelling time - - - bla bla bla - - - music blaring”.

So we gathered around … the Snorkelling Centre for a short briefing.

And this is our Guru of Snorkelling.


Some interesting things that he mentioned…

First…
“Guru : Don’t worry… I wash the mouth piece with acid already.
Student: HURHHHH ??? ACID… ???
Guru : No lah… soappp… hehehe.”

Second…
“Guru: Over there you can see baby sharks, fishes, and and and and.
Student: What’s and and and and?
Guru: And and and and means bla bla bla bla larrr…

Student:…. Sweat….”

Once our snorkelling tuition was done, we left for our very first snorkelling trip.

During snorkelling…

After snorkelling… tired out + bitten out by baby jelly fishes.

Can you believe i thought those jelly fishes was mucus? Hahaha. Must watch the discovery channel more often. I'm sure most of the other 39's knew it was jelly fish... cause most of them went up the boat early enough.

When we got back to the resort… it was tea-time! They really feed us well back at the resort.

Tee-hee.

Next up, was the Treasure Hunt.

It was quite funny… cause one of the requirements was to make a cup of hot tea or milo. Yen yoong first ran to the cafeteria to make the tea… then dona ran in as well. And they were racing against each other to make the tea. When they were done… they ran around to look for their respective groups… only to find out… they were from the same group!!! Rofl.

At 6.00 p.m. , the cut-off time… we calculated the scores… AND … the results…

Hrm, one tip on MBC trips… always bring your MBC shirt… it was an extra 5 points if you had the shirt for the game. So… if you haven’t got your shirt yet… head on down to MM Shop and get one now!!!

And we had steamboat for dinner that night…

Later…

Some played mahjong/gin rummy...

Some searched for blue sand at redang reef…

Some was busy sucking balitong out…

And some slept early? Makes sense to sleep early now, cause Day 2 was even more happening. Muahahahaha. You’ll have to wait for tomorrow for even more pictures and happenings.
